Graham past away peacefully at home on the 6/09/2005.


The B.A.R.G irlp Group has ask me to say a few words on their behalf.
Graham is a long time friend of mine,we have know each other for nearly 35 years,He
was my mate,friend and mentor for all those years.

YL-IRLP NET "BACK ON AIR"

The eagerly awaited YL-IRLP NET will begin
at 2100 UTC on Saturday 4th June (Australia - Sunday morning 7:00 am).

The net will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays (Sundays-Australia) of each month.

IRLP Reflector 9258 will be used for the broadcasts.

NOTICE TO MEMBERS


The repeater VK3RIR has been experiencing severe
interference from LIPD's ("Low Interference Devices").

Work will soon be carried out to protect the repeater
from the interference caused by LIPD'S.

This will cause the repeater to be off-air for
some hours when work is started.

Please take note that the following CTCSS tone will be
used (91.5 Hz) when the work is completed in the near future.

WIA Director Glenn Dunstan VK4DU and ACA liaison committee member Gilbert
Hughes VK1GH met with the ACA last week to formalise and document a set of
agreed Intruder Watch procedures between the ACA and the WIA. "The WIA

Well as far as the 1st contest goes...thank-you to all who participated in the 1st IRLP International Contest.
My thanks to all the node and reflector owners who gave their permission for the use their stations.

As the contest is coming to a close (17 APRIL 2005). Those operators who are participating in the contest
I request that they should be making calls node to node. Some nodes at this time have had no contacts made
to them by others. Let's do it right by the node owners and the operators in these areas who have willing allowed
us all to use their nodes for the contest. Remember that they are also 'Keeping The Radio In Amateur Radio' and also
want to join in the fun of making as many contact...
